If it had the MIDI capabilites of the AX-7 it would be the worlds greatest Keytar.. The AX-synth would not substitute into my setup because of the inability to designate MIDI program bank and patch changes.. The AX-Synth features USB MIDI for simple connection to a PC, dedicated V-LINK for video/visual control, and an advanced bender mode for dynamic solos.. The advantage of this synth is the on board sounds so you can plug directly into an amp and start playing, as opposed to the AX-7 with only MIDI controller capabilities where you have to have a sound module..
